Ólafur Arnalds is set to release his latest record For Now I Am Winter, a collection of songs that he recorded with acclaimed arranger Nico Muhly, on April 2nd via Mercury Classics. Arnalds and Muhly have just released a new video for album cut “Old Skin,” and when speaking about the inception of the video, Arnalds mentions that “we came onto this ‘high brow’ versus ‘low brow’ culture. We didn’t want to go the standard ‘Icelandic nature’ style, although we do sort of start with that, but it takes a complete U-turn in the middle.” Watch the video for “Old Skin” below.
