The stark black and white imagery that accompanies Los Angeles-based singer Anna Nelson (aka Moxi) in her new video for “Terrible Disguise” stands in sharp contrast to the song’s lush synth backdrop and subtly distorted beats. Nelson’s distinctive soprano seems to float above the instrumentation and playfully swoops through the notes like an acrobat, weaving between the sounds from the vintage keyboards and her signature omnichord strums.
