Franz Ferdinand have been generous with the content from their latest album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, releasing videos for two of the album’s tracks before the record has been out for a month. And here’s another one for the cheeky, gritty track “Evil Eye. “Play this on the telly if you dare you fuckers,” lead singer Alex Kapranos says about the video and he’s quite right to say so; full of VHS gore, director Diane Martel takes the video to its seedy limit. Watch as Kapranos’ face is super imposed onto an obese man’s stomach, or as he lays with a preserved skeleton, all while sporting a equally seedy moustache.
