The Slaughter House Band force you off your backside with “I Don’t See You Dancing”

Brighton-based quintet The Slaughter House Band stomp into your dorsal striatum with their new single “I Don’t See You Dancing”. It is of no surprise this track was conceived in an industrial estate warehouse in the seaside town of Fishersgate. The punchy basslines, bear the influence of Kings Of Leon, Raz Hyland’s snarly barking vocals channel Iggy Pop, and the dry wit reminiscent of Lou Reed will get you off your arse. Yes, we will be dancing, empaths or not.

Of the track, the band explains, “I Don’t See You Dancing” is a bitter and judgmental howl into one’s own ear. It’s that little voice in your noggin that tells you to put down the wotsits, put your crocs on and do something. It’s critical, it’s cruel and it’s confusing but it pours the diesel onto your creativity.”

The Band releases the accompanying video, filmed and directed by the band’s friend and artistic collaborator Josh Fletcher. Take this as a warning, according to the band, it is “Utter nonsense, Wes Anderson eat your heart out.”
