Radiohead - The King of Limbs

Radiohead – The King of Limbs: Album Preview Mix

Old Songs/Long Shots

“Big Boots (Man-o-War)”

An ultimate fan favorite that the band has attempted to record many times over. You can watch one of the band’s efforts at recording the song on Grant Gee’s 1998 documentary on the band, Meeting People Is Easy.

“Follow Me Around”
Latitude Festival 2009

Originally seen in the documentary Meeting People Is Easy, “Follow Me Around” seems to have been written during or shortly after the OK Computer sessions. The band has been playing it in various forms over the years. Most recently, Thom played it during his solo set at Latitude.

“Lift”
Pinkpop Festival, June 27th, 1996

Another fan favorite, and regularly played track in 1996 that probably won’t see the light of day on this release because of its clear “’90s sound.” It was rearranged in recorded during the Hail to the Thief sessions but has yet to be released.

“Morning Mi Lord (Good Morning Mr. Magpie)”
4th Webcast

“Morning Mi Lord” premiered on Radiohead’s fourth webcast on December 18th, 2002. The band worked on the song during their session at Hook End in August 2005. The band worked on it through 2006.

“Spooks”
Berkeley, CA, June 23rd, 2006

The ultimate Radiohead instrumental jam. It premiered back on May 6th in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Watch the debut below:

“True Love Waits”
Latitude Festival 2009

“True Love Waits” premiered back in 1995 and is still played pretty frequently by the band. A live version of the track was the closer for 2001’s I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings. Fans are still anticipating a studio version.
