Qwynn qwestions love on “No Next Time”

Nashville artist Qwynn’s new single “No Next Time” will remind you of Joy Oladokun and Maggie Rogers because it’s a beautifully crafted song featuring sunny vocals and a rousing, hooky chorus. It’s one of the standout tracks on the artist’s debut EP Never Or Now.

Says Qwynn: “I think we’ve all had that moment in our lives where we know something isn’t good for us and we have to change. ‘No Next Time’ is that moment.”

Qwynn teamed up with Lovelytheband’s Sam Price in LA for the EP’s first single “Blame Yourself” and went into the studio in Nashville with Grizfolk’s Adam Roth to record “Fear of Falling” and the EP’s title track.

Another gem from the new release is “Dead Weight”, a hypnotically rhythmic pop track which to my ears sounds like it could also be a hit for avant-country artists like Miranda Lambert or Lainey Wilson.

It’s clear to me that Qwynn has a lot of amazing arrows in her qwiver – and she has a bright future indeed.
