Night Moves have been gearing up for their US tour since the release of their debut album Colored Emotions last month on Domino Records. They’ll kick off their tour in Milwaukee on November 29, and to get us ready for their run of dates, the band has just released a new video for “Country Queen,” a song which has been making the blog rounds for a few months. The video, which is directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen (Bon Iver, Colin Stetson, Polica), places the band in varying degrees of light and shadow as each member slowly comes into focus. The video’s central image, that of a flowery, golden mic stand, sticks out in stark contrast to the mystery of the rest of the video.
