Who’d have ever thought Marie Davidson would need a band: this isn’t to discredit the spirit (or contributions) of her newfound compatriots but, rather, to celebrate the unexpectedness that is Renegade Breakdown.
Considering the forceful, often satirical brilliance of her own music, and the lead single of the forthcoming album, the thought of a new, equally intriguing mix boggled the mind before the realization before this new trio’s new mixture.
Delving into a more overly anthemic territory, Marie Davidson & L’Œil Nu take expectations in a new direction without muting their desires with new single “Worst Comes To Worst”. A four-on-the-floor dance number, it’s just one new shade that Marie promises to deliver on the forthcoming album.
