Catherine Irwin, the former singer of indie-twang outfit Freakwater, is set to release her newest solo record Little Heater on September 18th via Thrill Jockey. The album features guest spots from Will Oldham, Tara Jane O’Neil, and other artists from such bands as The Mekons, Sunburned Hand of the Man, and Ida.
