 
Yep Roc Records will handle the release of Born Ruffians’ upcoming record Birthmarks.  It’s slated to be released on April 16th, and the band will begin touring extensively in support of it starting in mid-April.  Birthmarks is the band’s third LP and written and demoed over the past three years and was produced by Roger Leavens at Boombox Sound in Toronto.  Retiring to a remote Ontario farmhouse, the band wanted to recapture the environment and spirit of the recording/writing sessions that resulted in their debut album Red, Yellow & Blue.  Check out the first single from Birthmarks, the striking pop-rocker “Needle,” below.
