Treasure Bloom may still be relatively new to the scene, but he’s quickly connecting with fans and artists alike. It’s no wonder. His echoing, self-produced bedroom R&B sound is as alluring as it is emotive, nestled in some delicate netherworld entirely of his own. Inspired by the likes of Frank Ocean and Blood Orange, the young artist manages to blend these sounds and more into something immediate and even essential.
His latest, “Feelings, Pt. II” is a lulling blast of wistful emotions, telling of two lovers both caught between ego, insecurities, and the dueling desires to move on and stay together, all at once. There are even shades of Dream pop on display in the track’s intricate, deceptively simple backdrop. Co-produced alongside Tyler Turner (Juice WRLD and many more), the track perfectly captures Bloom’s impending rise.
