The latest song from Lightning Bolt drummer/vocalist Brian Chippendale, “1000 Years,” comes complete with a video animated by a younger version of himself. The crude animation is taken from flipbooks that Chippendale drew in 4th and 5th grade. A notable comic book artist in his own right, the drawings give a crude, though telling, look at the beginning of his infatuation with drawings and their associative meanings. “1000 Years” is taken from Chippendale’s upcoming album All My Relations, which is due out on March 18th via Thrill Jockey Records.
