Last week we informed you of a very special Caribou live double LP entitled Vibration Ensemble which will be released only on vinyl and sold only at their shows. The album is set to be quite different from the studio recordings of Dan Snaith as this was recorded at ATP New York last year and features several guests, often boosting the number of people onstage to 15.
Now it might be a bit daunting to go and buy a double-LP not knowing pretty much anything about it so fortunately the first track “Every Time She Turns Round It’s Her Birthday” is available to download below. And worry no more; it’s amazing! Well, that is, if you like off-shoot moments of free jazz, tribal drum solos and the like mixed in with your Caribou.
