A few weeks ago London-based producer Kwes announced the release of a new EP on Warp Records entitled Meantime. Along with that announcement we got the awesome track “Bashful.” The EP isn’t out until May 1st but Kwes is now giving us a second song from Meantime, this one entitled “Igoyh.”
“Igoyh” is seven minutes long and more experimental and engrossing than “Bashful,” while having less of a hook. It’s got less of a hook, and in fact could be said to be trying to be the exact opposite of “Bashful” while still using the same musical themes and style. This EP is going to be a very interesting one indeed.
