Premiering today is a new interactive experience directed by Chris Milk (the same guy who made The Wilderness Downtown for Arcade Fire’s “We Used To Wait”) for the track “Black” from Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi’s collaborative concept album Rome. Titled 3 Dreams Of Black and developed in conjunction with Radical Media, EMI and Google, 3 Dreams Of Black “created three dream worlds that are experienced as 2D drawings and animations, interspersed with interactive 3D sequences in which the viewer becomes an active participant, guiding their own journey through the unfolding narrative. Participants can even create their own virtual artifacts–the best of which will then be integrated into the experience and become a part of other users’ dreams.”
Check out the “experience” at http://www.ro.me/. It is pretty damn cool. Rome is out on Tuesday.
