With less than a month to go until Hayley Williams releases her debut solo album Petals For Armor, she has today given us another tease in the form of new song “My Friend”.
An intimate and honest song, Williams uses the synth palette used so effectively on After Laughter, but takes it to a much darker space. Replete with grooves and intermingling wisps of melody, “My Friend” is as open as we’ve heard Williams.
Hayley Williams’ album Petals For Armor is out on May 8.
