Slug will continue his experiments in obsession, creepiness, and romance on April 12th on the new album from Atmosphere, The Family Sign. Women dig him because he is sensitive and scary. White dudes dig him because his lyrics are creative and not rooted in slang we don’t understand. I’m not sure what the rest of the hip hop community thinks about him, but there is probably a reason why he remains secluded to indie-rap status.
The Rhymesayers record features MC Slug and producer Ant along with contributions from keyboardist Erick Anderson and guitarist Nate Collis. Check out the Minnesota-pride jam below and look for the album this Spring. (via P4K)
