Capitol cashes in on Radiohead catalog. Again.

In yet another attempt to cash in on Radiohead’s back catalog following the band’s departure in 2007, Capitol Records is releasing on March 24th expanded “deluxe” editions of the band’s first three classic albums, 1993’s Pablo Honey, 1995’s The Bends, and 1997’s OK Computer. This is following the label’s release of a six-disc box set of the band’s Capitol catalog in December 2007, as well as a set of vinyl reissues in Summer 2008.

These latest reissues will be available in two editions, as 2-CD and 2-CD/1-DVD sets, and will include various B-sides, live tracks, and BBC sessions, most of which are available on the band’s singles.

Speaking of the band’s 12 Capitol singles, they are also due for a vinyl reissue on April 21, beginning with 1992’s Drill EP and ending with 2003’s “2+2=5.” Guess they have to get their money somehow, now that Radiohead isn’t doing the major-label thing anymore.
