Host Your Own “Octahedron” Listening Party
This summer, The Mars Volta is giving a handful of lucky fans the chance to check out Octahedron before it is released on June 23rd! We are looking for 10-15 of their biggest fans to host advance listenings in their homes for their new album, Octahedron. Fans must submit why they deserve to host a party. Submissions are open to interpretation: anything from youtube videos, illustrations, writings, etc. Any way to best translate why you deserve to be a “Host”. ”Official Hosts” will have their party pics posted on The Mars Volta’s website (thebedlam.net). We will also select one host and guest of their choice to see The Mars Volta perform anywhere in the US. Submit your entries by June 3rd to OctahedronParty@gmail.com. Make sure and include all your info (name, city, state), so we can get in touch with you. Good luck!
Erm, Mars Volta guys, if you’re reading this, can this post count as my submission? I have a big basement, nice speakers, a sweet turntable (VPI with custom Grado arm and cartridge), and a site to cover the party on. Deal?
Octahedron is due out June 23rd on Warner Bros. Records in North America and Mercury Records worldwide.
