After a weekend of silence, Radiohead finally made an official statement on their website concerning the song “These Are My Twisted Words” – which leaked onto torrent sides four days ago. Many eager fans were hoping for an EP, or maybe more songs. But it turns out they were just planning on giving one song away for free. There has been no word on how the song leaked early.

Radiohead Statement:

These Are My Twisted Words
So here’s a new song, called ‘These Are My Twisted Words’.

We’ve been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished.
We’re pretty proud of it.

There’s other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we’ve been practicing, and which we’ll probably play at this summer’s concerts. Hope you like it.
