In celebration of their 75th anniversary, NBC has called upon the Flaming Lips, T.I., B.B. King, the B-52′s, and Richie Sambora to recreate those memorable chimes. Each participant will have 8 seconds to play the chimes, which will become a promo around Thanksgiving.
Now don’t ask what T.I. is going to do, but we’re sure he (or any of the others) will have it as good as the Flaming Lips do. Wayne Coyne is playing a double neck, Guitar Hero style instrument on their spot. The lower neck is a neck off the Guitar Hero guitars, with a Kaoss Pad attached. Talk about awesome. So in short, seeing Wayne Coyne rock for 8 seconds on a plastic guitar right during the middle of 30 Rock could make your evening.
