The Yorkshire group have gone into the studio in LA to begin recording their third album. To help them with this process they have enlisted producer Nick Launay who has worked with a number of artists, most notably Talking Heads and Kate Bush.
By the sounds of it the bulk of the songs have already been written and they are now in the recording stage. Singer Paul Smith says the album will be more “stripped down” whilst producer Launay apparently believes it to be a “dance record”.
Although still in the early stages the band have drafted Spring 2009 as the potential time of release.
