Via You Ain’t No Picasso:
Doom’s DJ Dr Who Dat let us in on a secret while waiting for him to take the stage on Saturday. He said the he, Doom and Dave Sitek from TV on the Radio would be releasing an album together. I don’t know if this will be his next release or where it’ll fall in his list of allegedly upcoming releases, but it’s great news anyhow.
Take this with a grain of salt. DOOM has had countless projects that have yet to see the light of day. I’m still praying for his Swift & Changeable collaboration with Ghostface Killah. It appears that the Madvillain (DOOM + Madlib) sequel is underway though, let’s just hope that this Sitek collaboration doesn’t prolong its release.
In related news, DOOM will release a new compilation, entitled Unexpected Guests The album will be composed of DOOM rarities and collaborations and is due out sometime in October via Gold Dust.
