Last night EMA played the High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI, and fans there got to witness something a little special. Erika Anderson was joined onstage by Nika Danilova, aka Zola Jesus, and they did an impromptu cover of the Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Tommy James and the Shondells classic “Crimson and Clover.” (Joan Jett famously covered it.) Sure, it’s a little ramshackle, but it sure looks like fun, and it’s an enjoyable watch. Both artists play Pitchfork Festival this weekend, so maybe we’ll see more collaboration there.
