It looks like our friends over at La Blogotheque got to spend an intimate afternoon with Colin Stetson, everyones favorite free-jazz bass sax virtuoso turned indie sensation. Fresh off of collaborations with Laurie Anderson and Tom Waits, Colin Stetson has been making waves with his lauded release New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges (Constellation Records). Check him out in the clip below as he practices deep mantra inducing tones and allows us all, for once, to be thankful for whoever Stetson’s PR agent is, for turning the indie-blog world onto avant-guarde squealy jazz musings.
