“Skeletons” is the third single from the 2009 tour de force that was Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ It’s Blitz!. Officially released on February 1, it’s a marked changeup from the previous two singles, the straight-up euphoric disco bangers “Zero” and “Heads Will Roll”. A hauntingly beautiful video has been made for the song, directed by Barney Clay and shot at the so-called “legendary” Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It’s Karen O at her most ghostly.
There’s also a short “making of” clip featured on the band’s website.
