
As we creep ever closer to the release of Justice’s much anticipated second album Audio, Video, Disco we start hearing more and more about it, and now we’re hearing more from it. Tracks have started floating around and we’ve snagged two for you here, “Newlands” and “Canon.”
“Canon” stays firmly in dance territory with a lot of synths and big, steady builds in volume and releases of energy, as well as a lot of melodic noodling. “Newlands” goes back to what the band said in their original discussion of the album about the album being more rock-oriented. The song is almost a straightforward retro rock song with more traditional verses and chorus. Check out both below.
