In our first taste of Attack On Memory, Cloud Nothings’ sophomore album, we got a rather brash track called “No Future/No Past,” which sounded like a completely different band that brought us their debut album. Rolling Stone has provided a second sample from the album in the form of “Stay Useless.” The song is much more similar to Cloud Nothings in its overt catchiness and pop melody, but the production value is much higher and the song is stronger for it. And, along with it all we still get a nice dose of that rocking sound that was hinted at on “No Future/No Past.”
Check it out below.
Cloud Nothings’ new album Attack On Memory will be released on January 24th through Carpark Records.
