The Austin, TX dream pop/shoegaze trio Black Forest Fire are set to release their debut album Transit Of Venus on November 13th via Sedimental Records (Stars of the Lid, Weird Weeds, Kyle Bobby Dunn).  That’s the cover art above and it was conceived by Storm Thorgerson, the man responsible for the covers for Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy and Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.  The band met Thorgerson during their time playing SXSW 2011, and he immediately took a liking to the band and agreed to design the cover for their debut.  Listen to/download the first single “Live News Feed”  from Transit Of Venus below.
