Our first taste of The Magnetic Fields’ upcoming album, Love At The Bottom Of The Sea, comes in the form of “Andrew In Drag,” a bright, witty number that shows a nearly chaotic synth arrangement playing to Stephin Merritt’s tendency toward simple, straight-forward melodies. Judge for yourself, but we think it is a pretty tasty first course. Love At The Bottom Of The Sea is due on March 6th via Merge Records.
