The ninth studio album, by Athens, GA rockers Drive-By Truckers is out on Tuesday in the US via ATO Records, but you can stream the entire album right now. The album is entitled Go-Go Boots and it is the follow-up to last year’s The Big To-Do which was recorded during the same sessions, but this one is a mellower affair. The band is also releasing the documentary The Secret To A Happy Ending on dvd simultaneously with the album. Frontmen Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley will be performing an in-store gig at Rough Trade East in London tonight, but on Tuesday they’ll be back in the US for a month long full band tour in support of the album (dates here).
