Young Dolph and Key Glock just don’t slow down. When they make the perfect team and are putting out some of the hottest tracks of the year so far, why should they?
Having recently revealed plans for Dum and Dummer 2 and dropped off its lead single, the icy “Aspen”, preceded by the early tease of “Case Closed”, they’ve already returned with more, luckily for all of us lying in wait.
“Sleep with the Roaches” takes a more sinister turn, complete with an appropriately prideful (and twerk-filled) video. Bandplay provides a truly perfect beat, proving yet again to be the ideal partner for Dolph, and the two familial rappers ride the production with ease. Dolph takes the lead here, with Glock following in fine form.
UPDATE: Another cut from the album, this time a Dolph solo number, “Yeeh Yeeh” has also dropped. Check it out below or here on streaming platforms.
Speaking on the project overall with supreme confidence, Dolph boasts, “It’s definitely better. The first one was a hell of a crock thick though. You know what I mean? But this second one though, it’s a vibe. It’s like an hour-long vibe. I think like an hour or something. 20 tracks or something. And it’s just a whole vibe from beginning to end.“
