Here’s a new video from Menomena for their track “Plumage,” from their album Moms. In the clip the band’s now two members Justin Harris and Danny Seim go through multiple costume changes while walking towards a face-off with each other. That might sound simple enough, but according to director Trevor McMahan, apparently the video was hampered by an absurd amount of factors. These include (and are not limited to): “a shooting, bomb squad evacuation, a news helicopter crash, thunderstorms, near electrocution by lightning (which can actually be seen in the last shot of the video), gale force winds, destroyed equipment, and flash flooding.” After getting though all that, I think the video deserves your attention for its four and half minute runtime.
