A few people that I know who have seen Iron and Wine on their current tour for Kiss Each Other Clean have lamented at the loss of intimacy from the current full band set up. It seems Sam Beam has taken this into account, and has now even started scheduling solo shows in certain cities, alongside his full band ones. For those who don’t get to see one of these performance, maybe this session will keep you satisfied. Sam Beam, on his own, performs songs from the newest album, as well as the b-side “Biting Your Tail” and the old favourite “Upward Over The Mountain.”
