Video: Neon Indian – “Sleep Paralasyst”


Alan Palomo, the terminally chill Brooklyn mastermind also known as Neon Indian, recently released a new video for the track “Sleep Paralasyst,” one of his first offerings since Neon Indian’s 2009 debut, Psychic Chasms. The song was released in mp3 form back in March, and the video indicates some serious activity that hopefully means a new release is in the works.

“Sleep Paralasyst” is another ’80s-tinged electronic tune, with hazy vocals that express a deep longing backed by a drum-machine beat and poppy synth melodies. The accompanying video is trippy and dark, with lots of moody shots of Palomo coupled with some weird, dreamlike scenes.
