No matter who he wants to fuck like an animal, what the pigs are doing, or whatever other fucked-up images the dark artist has thrown at us over the years, he has now reached a level of respectability that most pop stars never match.
Reznor, along with collaborator Atticus Ross, beat out Hans Zimmer, A.R. Rahman, John Powell, and Alexandre Desplat for his original score work in The Social Network. In his speech, Reznor seemed genuinely humbled, and thanked both David Fincher and his wife, Mariqueen. He will next score Fincher’s next movie, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
