Mark Kozelek has announced the release of his fourth album under the moniker Sun Kil Moon. The album, entitled Admiral Fell Promises, has 10 songs and is 60 minutes long. It is due for release on July 13th in multiple different versions detailed below.
According to the Sun Kil Moon official website Admiral Fell Promises will be available on CD, vinyl and via download. Anyone purchasing the vinyl version will also get two bonus live tracks and liner notes (so we can assume the CD does not have any liner notes).
The album is being released on Caldo Verde records and anybody ordering directly through the label’s official site will also be rewarded with a 4 song Sun Kil Moon EP called I’ll Be There, which features covers of Stereolab, The Jackson 5 and Casiotone For The Painfully Alone.
