Peruvian producer Sofia Kourtesis has announced that her debut album Madres will be released on 27 October via Ninja Tune. We’ve previously heard the gorgeous title track from the record and now we get a second taste in new single “Si Te Portas Bonito” (“If you behave nicely”).
Kourtesis says: “If you want to date someone special ! Step up your game and behave nice.”
“Si Te Portas Bonito” unfolds radiantly, just like all of Kourtesis’ productions, the synths gliding out in front of each beat, providing a perfectly timed stepping stone to carry your imagination into her paradise-like sound. Indeed, “Si Te Portas Bonito”, with its effervescent beat and breezy atmosphere, is pure bliss. It’s like Kourtesis saying, “be kind to the person you admire and a world of weightless joy could be yours”.
