Neil Halstead, the musician and songwriter behind legendary groups like Slowdive and Mojave 3, has a new solo record, Palindrome Hunches, coming out next month according to MTVHive. Going it alone is no new road for Halstead; Hunches will be his third solo effort, and his first, 2002’s Sleeping on Roads, actually came out a few albums before Mojave 3 went on hiatus. Palindrome Hunches will be released September 11.
As for Halstead’s old groups, exciting things could be in the works for both projects. Halstead hinted at the possibility of a Slowdive reunion (!!!!) for the first time in, well, ever, and Mojave 3 is currently touring and working on new material. Let the speculation begin!
