Muzz is a new trio comprising Paul Banks (Interpol), Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman), and Matt Barrick (Jonathan Fire*Eater, The Walkmen, and Fleet Foxes’ touring band) who have just shared a new song called “Broken Tambourine”. It follows up the recently released “Bad Feeling”.
The new track is a slow-burning delight, with atmospheric drums and rising woodwinds giving lift to Banks’ wilting lamentations. It may be called “Broken Tambourine”, but both emotionally and musically there’s much more to it than that title suggests. Check out both “Broken Tambourine” and “Bad Feeling” below.
