It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Blonde Redhead. We knew they got together to score some music for the Dungeon Master documentary (baffling combination, to say the least), but beyond that, the Pace twins and Kazu Makino have been laying low in the music world. This morning, Gorilla vs. Bear passed along a new Blonde Redhead track (via 4AD), giving us hope for an impending follow-up to their 2007 album, 23. However, 4AD’s website does not provide any other information, so it’s all just speculation for now.
The sound in this atmospheric track seems to be more reminiscent of Misery Is a Butterfly-era Blonde Redhead rather than the often aggressive sound of their most recent LP.
