Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Mason Jennings will release his first live album on August 24th, documenting his tour in support of 2009’s Blood Of Man. The release will be titled Live at First Ave. for the Minneapolis venue where it was recorded on the last night of Mason’s fall tour, and will include three previously unreleased songs: “Born,” “Grow Old With Me” and “My Computer Screen.”
Along with the live release, Jennings announced a new album of rare lost and unreleased material to come in September. Mason re-recorded 15 rare tracks with only guitar and vocals for the album, which will be entitled “The Flood”
In support of these releases, Mason will set out on an intimate mini-tour of California in September, playing seven shows in four different cities.
