Le Tigre may currently be missing (unless you count MEN, but we don’t), but that doesn’t stop them from being in action. The feminist electroclash band, formed by Bikini Kill’s Kathleen Hanna, will be releasing their documentary, What the Bomp: Le Tigre on Tour on June 7th. The documentary, directed by Kerthy Fix, covers the band during their 2004 tour for This Island, and will be released by Adam Yauch’s company Oscilloscope Records.
The flick will have its first showing at SXSW festival, and an additional showing will be held at New York’s Museum of Modern Art, April 4th.
