It’s going to be a slow and lonely week this week as they whole music industry decamps to Austin, Texas for SXSW. But, if there were one new album that needs you to invest extra time in it to get enough out of it then it’s definitely Lost In The Trees’ new album A Church That Fits Our Needs. And, fortunately, the album is streaming in its entirety at NPR a full week before the release date so that fortunately you can start getting into it right now.
If you need a slightly less dense and less emotionally heavy album to break up the plays of A Church That Fits Our Needs then in many ways Tanlines’ debut album Mixed Emotions is the perfect choice. The guys have created a heavy synth pop album that capitalizes on the potential shown by their EPs. It’s also streaming courtesy of NPR.
Check out both below.
Lost in the Trees’ A Church That Fits Our Needs comes out through Anti- on March 20th.
Tanlines’ Mixed Emotions is also out on March 20th, through True Panther.
