Deerhoof have in the past given away free music via their website, but it has in fact been four years since their last offering. It’s understandable, since they have been very busy in the meantime recording two albums and touring relentlessly as well as several other activities. To make up for the lull, the band are releasing a live album with typically quirky title 99% Upset Feeling.
99% Upset Feeling was recorded this year on their Deerhoof vs. Evil tour and apparently it “is arguably the first honest attempt to document the drama and intensity of their live show into a well-recorded package.”
The album clocks in at 33 minutes and features 11 songs. You can download or stream the album at Polyvinyl’s Soundcloud.
