Caribou has returned with a techno-focused new single “Honey”.
Details around the track are minimal to non-existent – aside from the flamingo image you see above, a theme which is continued in the song’s visualizer.
However, no explanation is necessary once you hit play – “Honey” finds Dan Snaith fully back in dance mode, high-BPM, interwoven melodies, burbling bass and devilish samples all intact and coming correct. This lands at the perfect time as spring is emerging and the scent of summer is just around the corner – we can imagine many of this year’s festivals going off when this one drops (as it already has been in Snaith’s recent DJ sets).

“Honey” is out on City Slang / Merge. You can find Caribou on Bandcamp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
