Ever since striking gold with his Lil Jon collaboration “Turn Down for What”, DJ Snake has been wrangling various serious pop talent for a curious range of delectable, infectious pop singles.
His latest is no exception, despite leaning in a rather different direction: it largely follows the lead of Ozuna, with Snake digging eagerly (and heavily) into Reggaeton influences.
Most intriguing, however, is the genuinely delightful cultural mash up that is its entire cast. Joining Ozuna are none other than Megan Thee Stallion and BLACKPINK’s Lisa (fresh off the release of her own debut solo single). All three artists manage to make quite an impression, with their disparate styles work surprisingly well alongside one another, and the video clearly displaying just how much fun they had getting together.
It’s just the sort of truly global pop smash we’d like to see more of. Let worlds collide!
