Commenting on the new song, BIZZY says: “I had to look inward and unlearn a lot to reclaim my spark—the pieces of myself I had tucked away to fit someone else’s mold. For years, I’d traded my style and personality like a habit just to keep the peace. But one by one, I peeled back those layers and rediscovered the authentic me.”
BIZZY’s music is the antithesis of bedroom pop because she romps and rocks so much that the bedroom would be in tatters. Before launching her solo career, BIZZY wrote songs for other artists – and her songwriting chops are first-rate. Her previous single “Tastes Like Shit” features perhaps the best hook of the year: “I got a taste of my own medicine, and it tastes like shit.”
