Bayonne teams with composer for orchestral rework album, shares new version of “Come Down”

Austin-based Bayonne (Roger Sellers) releases his symphonic “Come Down (Orchestrated)” and announces his new collaboration with composer Nathaniel Earl: Temporary Time (Orchestrated) out March 8 – watch the trailer below. If you’re in the area, you can see him play with a live ensemble March 22 at the 04 Center in Austin, Texas.

The new record presents a perfect synastry with Bayonne’s childhood dream ”to have orchestrated arrangements around my music in some capacity.”

Meanwhile, composer Earl shares:

“I heard Roger’s song ‘Solo’ when it was first released in early 2023 right in the middle of one of the most difficult experiences in my life. It brought me to tears and connected to me in a moment when I felt disconnected from everything. That night I composed the strings to Solo (Orchestrated) out of pure gratitude, then reached out to Roger asking if he’d be interested in collaborating. I’m enamored with this music.”

The symphonic EP reimagines four tracks from Temporary Time along with one original piece.
