Finally! The dream of playing The Beatles’ classic songs on plastic guitars and drums will come true in the next month with The Beatles: Rock Band. The setlist has been rumored for months now but it has finally been announced with a month left of hype remaining. Also, the remaining tracks from Abbey Road will be released as downloadable content. Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band and Rubber Soul are to be released shortly after. Speculation has grown for other albums from The Beatles legendary discography.
Rock Band has become a dominating franchise amongst gamers and fanboys across the globe. Some bands have been taking advantage of this easy opportunity for exposure and releasing tracks as downloadable content.
The Beatles: Rock Band will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii on September 9th to coincide with the release of The Beatles’ remastered discography.
